Andy McCain grew up in the midwest, just north of Milwaukee, WI. He originally got the acting bug from his mother, the high school drama teacher and director. In his teens years he was known as Mystical McCain, a kid’s birthday party magician. After he disappeared, (heading to college) he majored in Theatre Arts at Catawba College. He has studied with Terry Schreiber Studios, The Barrow Group, David Kagen School of Film Acting, James Ciccone with Actors Axiom and many more.

He is an Actor, Film Director, Fight Choreographer, Puppeteer, Screenwriter, VO Artist, Audiobook Narrator & Teaching Artist.

He is known for Pizza Man (2024), Crowded Out (2024), 10-62 (2022), You Need Therapy! (2022), Seventeen (2017), Pity Applause -TV Series (2016) Sophie Hates Me (2012) and Better the Devil You Know (2009), and other films. Andy can be seen in the Constant Contact commercial campaign, “Let’s Win This” repping Petey’s Pickles. You can listen to Andy on Audible with such fun books as What the Frost?!, The Last One Out, It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Raptors, Surrender, and The Amazing Adventures of Risky Roach. Andy was named Broadway World’s Best Supporting Performer in Straight White Men, with Wellfleet Harbor Actor’s Theatre.

He is a proud member of AEA and SAFD. Andy has the intellectual seriousness of Benedict Cumberbatch, with the goofy physical antics of Jim Carrey and Dick Van Dyke, plus the romantic charm of Hugh Grant.
